Local youth in Rakhine state have been looking for possible entry points to get jobs for their income. We realize that huge numbers of local youth with potentials are in need of job opportunities in social and business sectors. The BBS created an atmosphere for six local youth to improve their skills on social and peace studies and facilitation as well with the aim to step up their potential to get relevant professional jobs in the area. One of the interns got job opportunity at a local NGO in the half of internship period and when the four-month internship program was successfully finished; five out of six interns received an internship certificate.
In four months, the interns got various experiences in facilitating social and peace training, dialogue practices, humanitarian projects and IDP camp exposure to understand the living condition of conflict-affected people.
