Food Distribution for Muslim LAPs
Even only in IDP camps in Sittwe township, more than 3500 families (about 20000 people) are identified as non-IDP and they are called livelihood affected people (the conflict was not directly affected their villages but consequences of conflict indirectly affected upon their livelihoods and they had to moved to nearby IDP camps from the villages with the aim to get humanitarian supports) and not on WFP ration list and are in need of food. BBS has been helping those people in food need in IDP camps in Sittwe.
By this project, BBS distributed food packages for total (503) livelihood affected families in Ohn Taw Chay IDP camp and Da Paing Hmanzi IDP camp in sittwe township, Rakhine state.
We are accountable to the funder and the food packages are provided hand in had to the beneficiaries.
