Food Gift for Rakhine Host Community
Ohn Yay Phaw village, a Rakhine/Buddhist fishermen's community is located in outskirt area of Sittwe and community members are living under poverty. The ad-hoc food aids project to Rakhine host community aims to promote the welfare of Rakhine community members to keep fair treat to both conflicting communities while we are supporting Muslim communities under humanitarian program.
By this project, BBS provided total 124 food packages for community members in Oh Yay Phaw village (97 families), Chaung Wa village (25 families, neighboring small village of Ohn Yay Phaw) and (2) monasteries in both villages.
